Bgoney that map you just posted Id say is pretty darn accurate. most days were 5-10 degrees above average from what I remember . ( in my area) my guess is the rest of the month is probably going to be closer to avg though. the real question do we see any meaningful snow

man its one of those winters lol . lets see what happens in this next week as far as getting any white stuff. things should transition back to normal weather for this time of year and probably into early Feb

have to like what the models are showing for next week. several storms one after the other. im just concerned about the cold I would like to see a stronger high pressure for the storms to feed off of then I would feel better about snow chances

hope we can score in the next 2 weeks. long range models are showing a torch for most of February

i miss the days when the GFS constantly shows 365 hour snowstorms. maybe next week the model will start throwing us some long range bones again

another thing I was looking at was the stratosphere . future model runs were showing it eventually stretching down over the eastern US almost splitting. so it is expected to weaken and drag more arctic air south which would occur later this month.

really don't see any change the next 10 days. keep kicking the can further down the road. looks like last 2 weeks of the month for possible colder air and or snow chances
