it started snowing finally right around noon and quite heavy also, i have an inch down easy already

this is a strange storm. was forecasted for 3-5" to start around 8 am and i have not seen a flake yet

snow shield is not even an hour away from me. this thing is moving in way quicker then expected

i think most of you should be seeing precip. the field has really expanded looks like most of ohio and indiana are in the snow but mostly rain in kentucky. post your obs. where is everyone

models are showing descent wrap around snows with this system

one thing I notice is more activity the rest of the month you will see something every 3/4 days. the cold air looks marginal but we will probably see more white then wet the next couple weeks

they are backing off for my area now. saying 1-3" starting around mid morning Wednesday

the rain has turned back to snow a couple hours ago, expecting a heavy dusting before wrapping up around mid day

I would probably lean more to the EURO side but will be a tough call the next 2 weeks. after that long range experts are showing a torch return for February so looks like we have a chance to score the next 10 days before the west starts getting trough after trough and southeast ridge comes back
