Overall most of us who have issued forecasts for this are similar, just slightly different on placement and amounts. My thoughts match yours the closest, Tim.

Going to maintain my 1-3” call for the metro, 3-6”+ for eastern areas. Most guidance supports ~1” or less for Cincy, but it’s close. Hence I’m going to just hold things for now. If you’re west of town, don’t expect much if anything. Amounts stair-step up as one goes east.

This will be a largely impactful storm for many, many folks. As it stands, eastern areas of the Ohio Valley are at the highest risk. We shall see how the globals handle things over the next couple hours and see if they latch onto the further south/east idea. Still like my early call idea for now but...

Most if not all model guidance favors areas east/southeast of I71 for the heaviest amounts. Adjustments either way are of course likely at this stage in the game. Having said that, there is only so far west this thing can (and will) go in a setup like this. I like an early 1-3” call for Cincinnati, ...

Haha well there will be an impactful storm affecting the region so it was thread-worthy. Specifics for Cincinnati are TBD of course, but some areas in the region will see a sizable event.

I’m not a huge CB fan (discussion for another thread perhaps lol). But I did see his graphic on Twitter, and I agree with his threat placement.

While impacts on Cincinnati are TBD, I went on ahead and started a thread since there will be a storm; track TBD.
