Yup, it's been relentless. Hopefully not much longer until we switch to the good stuff!

The sleet has picked up intensity out here. Moderate to heavy rates. Grass is starting to get covered up.

Hopefully next week's storm can help fill in some of that hole of misery.

If they're talking Winter Season (Dec-Jan-Feb), then Indy only has 0.3". Pretty remarkable.

We'll see if this Sunday clipper throws them a bone or not.

What interests me is the GFS was always NW. Some CMC support. Euro was always weaker and SE. Then you have the Euro and EPS as well come NW to match some of the GFS solutions. Want to see the GFS tick back NW and the Euro at least hold where it's at and some folks esp along and east of the I-71 cor...

Another one to add to the pile of warm Decembers in the last decade.

This will be 8 out of the last 10 that were above normal. I believe '16 and 17' were the only exceptions.

Les, I very much agree with that statement: Having the MJO stall in 7 is better then it stalling in 3, 4, or 5.

I'll take a mixed bag or rn/sn events, any day during Met Winter. I'd rather see that than 60s, severe weather, and flooding we've seen for the last month.

Goodland KS just issued a Dust Storm Warning a little bit ago. That squall line kicked up a wall of dust moving 80mph!

Also guys.... and I am sure you know this... but there is also a lag too. So no matter what phase the MJO is in, there is usually a lag until we see the atmosphere respond. Thus, I am thinking the pattern won't get very favorable until January. We can still see changes for the rest of December but ...

Thankfully that storm weakened a bit as it entered Dearborn County. Just some lightning and moderate rain so far.

Out here in SE IN, I had a nice covering on the lawn and rooftops yesterday morning. We were right on the line of something and nothing. I was at 33 and snow, but as I went down the hill into Harrison it was 36 and light rain. Crazy how the slight elevation changes out my way make such a difference....
