Queen City Fireworks is stocked and ready! On our Pro side, we have more shows than ever!

Oh! Angela! I found your Unicorn fountain and should have it soon! I ordered 3 cases of them! I'll let you know when we get it!

Looking forward to another successful, pyro packed year!

Re: Kitchen Sink Storm Feb 2-4, 2022

Rain/Freezing rain in Anderson Township. Roads good for right now. Light ice accretion on elevated surfaces. Winds picking up a bit.

Just had to take down my flag off my flag pole. It was frozen straight out!

Re: AV Pyrotechnics Thread

Dealt with some light sprinkles most of the day yesterday, but aside from a touch of smoke, the show was awesome! Only had a chance to grab a couple more photos due to working on waterproofing and quadruple checking said waterproofing. So here you go! Second one is a bit tough to see since it was ge...

A little 1.4 & 1.3 private party show tonight. Squeezed it in just before the heavens opened, which worked out! Got our cakes cooled down real quick post show!

Now we finally get a couple days off, then back at it for more pyro fun!

Re: AV Pyrotechnics Thread

Sorry Angela! That was one we don't carry, but I will look into it for next year for sure. If I can get the factory code for it, I'll be able to see every wrap it has and see if we can order it in from somewhere! On another note, yesterday was travel, today was set-up for the City of Paducah's firew...

Re: AV Pyrotechnics Thread

This is huge news for Ohio and the retail stores in and around the state! An industry insider told me recently that Gov. DeWine wouldn't sign it, but due to the overwhelming majority passage in the house, he won't even have to for it to become law. We will see how it goes! Hopefully this is just the...

Re: AV Pyrotechnics Thread

Sorry I didn't get back sooner! We do carry some World Class products, but prices from their wholesaler went up quite a bit this year, so we did a lot of spot picking from their catalog. We have a lot of fountains, etc., I'd have to see the exact one to be sure. Like you said Les, lots of supply iss...

Had a little water in Greendale. The fireworks store was right in the path of some of the biggest cells last night and this morning. Good news is, no product was wet, and we got everything dried back out now!

Re: AV Pyrotechnics Thread

$2k is a SOLID budget for a "backyard show". It's all about making the money work for you in product selection, different effects, etc. You should have no problem filling the sky with a really nice display at that level. That all being said, there are a lot of changes this year with prices...

No kidding! Even though I was lucky enough to do some shows last year, it just wasn't the same! There's something about running around like a mad man for the couple weeks leading up to the 4th that I just love! Lol!

Re: AV Pyrotechnics Thread

Already working on 4th of July in my side of things! 2021 will hopefully bring a rebound to the professional show side of things for my business! On the other hand, the retail/consumer side for 2020 was incredible and I know at our store it was the biggest year we have had since we opened Queen City...
