Les a nice start for the rainfall and getting a few periods of rain here and there is a good way to let some of it soak in. Temps today very tricky as the warm front is south of us near I-64. How quickly does it move north and if you stay north of the front probably low or maybe mid 60's but get south of the front and temps easily into the 70's. No doubt the front moved a little further south than models showed so it could take a little longer to move northward so it may be mid-late afternoon in the local area.

An update from the boys:

.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 PM THIS EVENING/...
The round of SHRA/TSRA that impacted locales S of I-70 this
morning and especially near the OH Rvr, continues to pull away
from the ILN FA, leaving in its wake a few remnant SHRA and/or
sprinkles along a WNW-ESE stretched axis.

The blanket of cloud cover remains draped across the area this
morning and don`t anticipate a ton of movement and/or mixing out
as we progress through the heart of the afternoon, leading to a
slightly cooler daytime near/N of the OH Rvr as highs only reach
into the upper 50s/lower 60s. There will be a sharpening temp
gradient near the far srn fringes of the ILN FA near a line
from Carroll to Lewis Counties in KY late in the day, with a few
spots reaching into the mid 70s in these locales.

By early evening, there should be a larger push of the boundary
further N as stronger WAA/LLJ nudges to the NE once again. This
should allow for convective redevelopment past 21z and
especially toward 00z and beyond for locales near/N of the OH
Rvr.

Visible shows some some sun breaks to the west. I'm not sure how much of it will make it in here though. We shall see....

I'm sitting at 65 with clouds and a bit of sun attm. Low pressure coming out on St. Louis, should send the front back north as a warm front tonight into tomorrow. Heavy rain again is likely and we'll see how things go severe wise once things get popping.
