Nice win by the Lions. The Bengals even with the horrible loss almost control whether they are in the playoffs. 5 of the 6 teams that needed to lose this weekend helped the Bengals. Only Buffalo won. Of course we need to win both upcoming games plus have the dreaded Pittsburgh lose one of their last two. I knew the Bengals chances to get in after the loss was almost 0 but with 5 teams losing on Sunday the odds when way up.

The easy way for the Bengals to get in is win both games,Indy win both games and Pittsburgh lose one game. If Indy loses one game and we still win both a Miami over Buffalo win in the last week will work as well. Other possibilities involving Jax and Houston but will leave that alone until after week 17. Denver losing was huge last night because they have an easy schedule and we did not play them and lose the tie-breakers in conference play.

Enjoyed seeing the crying chiefs lose as much as seeing a Bengals win. I think Bengals have a shot at beating chiefs, but if Cleveland is playing to win and not rest players, I can’t imagine beating that Browns Defense

Da Browns, My Lions, My Raiders, Eric's Panthers, Geno Smith, Eric's Bengals, Cheese Heads

There is a 3 way tie in the NFC for the #1 Seed. Philly, Niners, and My Lions. If the Lions can win out and if one of those other teams were to lose a game, then My Lions would get a first round BYE and have home field advantage throughout the entire playoff's. Wouldn't that be something!!!

Congrats to the Browns and their historical clinch of a playoff spot and in a season when they've used 4 QB's! :)

Latest one being Joe Flacco! 8-)

Interesting game Les. The Cowgirls are a different team at home. Love to see the Lions win and a chance to get a number 2 see or number 1 if everything goes correct

No doubt Tim. Dallas is 7-0 at home. We play good on the road. We have lost 4 this season. 2 at home and 2 on the road so location makes no difference with this Lions Team! Bring it on! Hope #97 Aiden Hutchinson can knock Dak Prescott on his ass a few times!

I know Dan Campbell likes to take chances on 4th down. I had no problem with the fake punt but I had more of a problem going for it on 4th and goal. They stopped you 3 times down there and getting 3 points against the Cowboys is always good. No doubt the game has had some big plays but very little scoring.

My biggest issue was going for 2 to try and win the game. You get it but then it gets called back on a penalty. I would kick the extra point and go into OT. Nope. They try it three times and lose the game by 1. That's what pissed me off the most. The guy has balls but takes too many chances. It's like too much of a good thing.

Les I agree about just tying the game up especially since there was on 23 seconds left in the game and not 2 minutes. The biggest problem I have is the ref telling the truth about who reported as a eligible receiver. Yes plenty of bad calls by refs but if they lie the NFL has a much bigger problem. Like I have been talking about for years is getting rid of refs over 50. I know they can position themselves a certain way but you get older the eye site is not as good and trying to keep up with world class athletes is almost impossible. At the end of the day Detroit will be fine whoever they play the first week of the playoffs and if its Dallas even more so. Difference between a 2 and 3 seed is huge because with a 2 seed you are getting 2 home games compared to 1

The Lions absolutely got screwed by the official. No doubt about it. I've seen enough video footage on ESPN this morning and on YouTube. The NFL hates Detroit, always has and it shows.

Well the Chiefs screwed over the Bengals again and nixed their furthering a Wild Card chance!

Another loss at the hands of the KC like they had putting the brakes on Cincy during the 2023 playoffs!

At least my Colts are still alive!! :thumbupleft:
