I just want to add something here. A lot of people put in the disclaimer "I don't know a lot about the weather...". That is irrelevant here. Everyone brings something to the table, and has talents that come into play. It may be as simple as reporting what is happening in your backyard. That is still important information- it is a surface observation.

I encourage everyone to explore the forum. This place goes far beyond weather, ranging from poetry and songs, to the super-natural, to sports, and everything in between. Something may come up in these topics that you have experience or knowledge in, and you could help someone immensely. I would have never thought that my medical knowledge would come in handy on a weather forum, but it has.

Yet another defecting lurker from the other board. My name is Michelle. I live in Covington (can see the new skyscraper in downtown Cincy if I step out in my street LOL). I work in Colerain township, so I get to observe in two locations. It's amazing how just 15 miles can make such a difference in conditions.

Half the people are gone from SEW and they are still having server issues.

With a major storm, there should be much more activity over there.
