Thankful for the rain at the end of October. Thankful for the dry weather so far in November. It makes leaf work much easier, but it does make it dusty at times. Hoping to be able to get more leaves off the properties before they get to wet.

I made sure my rain gauges were empty yesterday. One has 8 tenths and the other has 9 tenths. That should settle the dust for a bit.

Had some nice rain finally. Two rain gauges have 7 tenths in them. It rained hard for a little bit. Enough to wash the pile of leaves down the street that was behind my tire. I did move the truck so that could happen.

Getting crispy here. Unless of course you are watering. I'm watering flowers, shrubs, and sod I put down this spring. Still not enough to keep from seeing brown in the sod.

Sweat shirt and pants kinda of morning here.

Only picked up a tenth of an inch here. Better than zero I guess.

Made it Panama City Beach yesterday afternoon. No damage here they said just some wind and rain. They said about 200 miles east is devastated. Rain here today

My sister is still planning on going. Says PCB should be fine. I said we shall see we aren’t going anywhere if they have mandatory evacuations I told her. Keeping a close eye on this that is for sure.

Had some light rain around since about 530. Under the trees still dry[.

8 tenths in the rain Gauge from yesterday and overnight.

Got a downpour happening at the moment. Wish it would stop as I was on a roll cutting yards today. Mainly because they are not very long. Be interesting to see what the rain gauge shows in a few minutes. It's about out of here.

Edit: just looked at 12:35 AND half an inch of rain has fallen.

Depending on which rain gauge I want to go by. Total rain .50 to .70 including the .20 from earlier yesterday.
