I missed out on a lot of the scattered stuff yesterday afternoon, but last night was productive. 1.3" for an event total so far.

Lucking out here. Some heavy rain at the moment but no lightening and little wind up to now.

12Z OP GFS is a perfect example of what I am talking out for those who haven't seen it yet. GEFS aren't done running yet but thru Day 10, not a flake of snow to be found. I'm doing my part. Ran the gas out of the snowblower and took the blade off of the ATV today. That might temp the snow gods!!

A little off topic. Just checked in to the Bay Mills casino overlooking Whitefish Bay on Lake Superior. Talked to the lady at registration and she said “the weather is supposed to get really bad! It’s supposed to get above freezing!” It’s all in your perspective!

A couple of nice snow showers have whitened the roofs and mulch.

Thanks for the story. Yes I was able to live in that time period and being such a weather nut I was in awe watching the storm. Snow drifts blocked the front door and the drifts were just amazing. The guys I hung around with back then and we built a camp in the summer of 77. Lucky we put a fireplace...

I have been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning until 7:00 for 3 to 6 inches.

Estimating 2 inches so far. Radar says another 2 possible. We’ll see.
