Got back from eating with friends and walked the dog. Sprinkles and 0.45 in the rain guage. SURPRISED!

Drove through the storm on the way to dinner with friends. Between Madeira and Montgomery, up to penny sized hail and torrential downpour. My rain guage is approaching 2.75 inches.

Emptied the rain guage so it wouldn't freeze. I didn't get it out until Monday afternoon. 2.5 inches.

I just noticed the egg has hatched. Also, I thought the nest was in Clermont County, but I was wrong. The nest is actually in the city of Cincinnati, south of Lunken Airport where the Little Miami river empties into the Ohio.

Just found that Clermont County has their own bald eagle nest with a camera watching it. Eagles are named Bonnie and Clyde.

My son was talking about the help wanted ad by the Bills. Starting at like 7 tonight bring your snow shovel and shovel all night for $20 per hour to clear the stadium seats. They also are expecting 1 to 3 feet overnight. I suspect they decided there was no way to get the seating ready for the game.

Eric, don't you know, moving brings rain. It seems every time we see moving vans in our neighborhood, it rains.

Looks like I picked up about 0.62 inches with almost all of that from overnight.

Picked up 0.95 inches of rain overnight and this morning. I will take it!

It was so cold one morning, the antifreeze in the radiator slushed up. Our son, 3 years old at the time, had a blast running through the snow that was couple feet deep on the lots we looked at.
